About Beyu Caffe Poetry Slam…

Beyu Poetry Slam is provides a broad range of voices, faces, styles, cultural traditions, and approaches to writing and performance. Our intention is to foster a positive and fun environment which could propel the next great Langston Hughes or Jessica Care Moore. Beyu Caffe is currently working with the renowned poet, Dasan Ahanu, who is currently a professor of creative writing at Saint Augustine’s College in Raleigh, NC and coaches Durham’s well-known Bull City Slam Team.
