Beyu Caffe is excited to bring you Lance Scott Jr. and his band, The Lance Scott Group. Many of you have seen Lance as the lively bass player with notable artists featured at Beyu. Now get ready for an assortment of musical styles with a focus on Contemporary Jazz and funk fusion, all of which ventures into elements of hip-hop, R&B, and soul.

Lance Scott Jr is a Durham native born in March of 1989. As a child he grew up listening the the sounds of Earth Wind and Fire, Cameo, and countless Gospel Groups. Today Scott is a graduating senior at North Carolina Central University as a Jazz Studies major. Scott has played all over the east coast, as well as in Johannesburg South Africa March of 2011. Scott plans to persue a career in production and song writing, and hopes to bring a familiar feeling evoked by older music.

This will definitely be a night we consider, “Jamming.”
